My save file is corrupted and my game data is gone. What can I do?

Save file corruption can have many causes — antivirus interference, Steam Cloud sync errors, and more — so pinpointing a single cause is very difficult. To recover your save, press the “Recover Saves” button at the bottom right of the HELP menu. This lets you load your most recently played save file.

My gun suddenly stopped reloading.

This is a long-standing issue that is very difficult to fix quickly within the current game systems. As a workaround:

• For firearms with detachable magazines: sell the magazine at the shop and buy a new one — this resolves the issue.
• For firearms with fixed magazines (such as shotguns): sell the gun itself and repurchase it — this also resolves the issue.
